Chloe Sevigny Fashion Film
I love how gritty this film is. Shot in low light, from what looks to be in her apartment. Sevigny seems to look surprised. Her hair isn’t done nor possibly her makeup. Appearing like a simple homemade movie between two friends shot off the cuff one night, she tries on clothes from her OC collection.

I made a fashion film in 2002. Living in Paris, I walked around one night in my arrondissement and asked a friend to shoot me in night vision wearing a netted hood over my head as I posed nonchalantly next to the graffitti I’d thrown up on the wall of the names of my favorite designers: Helmut Lang, Raf Simons, Margiela… not much has changed since.

Long live DIY, the aesthetic of it is stuck in a dark, 80’s vibe here and it works. Love the music by Colony Farm.

Director: William Strobeck, “Where’s Bambi”
