I’ve very excited about Stage Presence, an amazing engagement series celebrating the intersection of performance and the visual arts at SFMOMA. They’ve recruited and commissioned some very talented locals, so come out and show your support. Also, I sat through Christian Jankowski’s latest film, “Casting Jesus” and it’s hilarious. Christian and I became friends when he was teaching here at CCA and I think his work is an exemplary cornerstone to this series.
See you tonight! The room where the performances are happening is a cool installation in itself. Come check it out this evening and here is the calendar of events to wet your appetites!
LIVE TONIGHT FOR STAGE PRESENCE! An electronic opera score meets artist Shana Moulton’s alternate persona, Cynthia. All the pertinent details (+ tix!) can be found here. Show starts at 7:30pm.
