Paul Clipson films tonight @ SFMoMA along with musical performances by Portraits and few others. Free with Museum entrance at 7pm. Clipson is a local artist whose works I’ve seen twice now, once at SFAI opening for Tony Conrad’s live performance and then at Michelle Blade’s Sight School with Joshua Churchill’s music. And his work is still exciting to me. I’ll be there to see his new Super 8 edits. Somewhere between catching up with my friend who is based now at Pace Beijing, who worked securing a James Turrell piece for my “Cosmic Wonder” show and hosting my friend from Paris who is tour managing Vitalic playing at 103 Harriet tomorrow night. Good times. Ad season…be open.
