Falling in and out of love from enthusiasm
Museums are the exotic wonderlands of what we are… what kind of painting style would you be willing to spend your life in? Would it be Impressionism? That would be nice. ON tour with Omar Souleyman
My friend Mark Gergis, who co-wrote a 16 page travel diary while visiting with Omar Souleyman in Syria is on a 2 month tour together blowin’ Western minds with the sounds and ferocity of Omar and his band. I can’t believe he’s not coming here, but perhaps that would be like preaching to the converted. Love you and safe home, dammit. And Al, you are a good man.
