Zoe Strauss fundraiser for shooting BP Oil Spill → projectsite.unitedstatesartists.org

Zoe Strauss is an amazing photographer from Philly who puts together the I-95 exhibition underneath the freeway, and contributed to our Issue #3 “Realness” because she knows how to capture and interact with the individuals in her community. As an artist, she works on a very generous and intuitive level, and if she shoots the spill, I have a feeling it will portray the people affected by it, more so than all the footage we’ve seen so far focussing on nature and wildlife.
